Donald Trump is set to return to Pennsylvania next week where he will host his first campaign rally since the attempt on his life less than two weeks ago.

Tickets for the former president’s event can only be obtained online and in blocks of two at a time. The rally is due to take place on July 31 in Harrisburg, just over 200 miles from the city of Butler where the shooting occurred .

Trump took a break from the campaign trail on Wednesday, though kept up his social media attacks on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris , as concerns about his pick of running mate swirled within the Republican Party following neagtive polling results.

Ohio Senator JD Vance was chosen at the Republican National Convention when it was assumed that Biden would be at the top of the Democratic Party ticket, though Biden dropped out just three days later.

Asked on Fox News whether he had any regrets, Trump said he was 100 percent behind his choice.

It comes as a New York Times/Siena College poll estimated that just a single point currently lies between Trump and Harris among likely voters.
