A Pensacola, Fla. man was arrested June 22 after being wanted for grand theft, according to the Atmore Police Department.

Public Information Officer Sgt. Darrell McMann said Kenneth McCall, 27, was wanted by the Pensacola Police Department for grant theft.

McMann said at approximately 2:40 p.m. on the day of the arrest, APD officers were investigating a traffic accident in the 600 block of North Main Street.

McMann said upon checking the drivers license status of one of the drivers, they discovered McCall was wanted by the PPD.

“The Pensacola Police Department wished to have McCall extradited back to Escambia County, Fla.,” McMann said. “McCall was placed arrest and transported to the Escambia County Detention Center in Brewton.”
