The three most expensive home sales in Escambia County during May totaled approximately $6.5 million.

Escambia and Santa Rosa counties combined home sales rose 9% from April, according to data from the Pensacola Association of Realtors.

Every home on this month’s list was built after 2000. The newest home of the bunch, located on Pensacola Beach , was built after the lot’s original residence burned down.

That home is also the only residence on this list that’s in Pensacola Beach . The other two homes are located within the city of Pensacola limits.

Here's which homes had the highest sale tags during May in Escambia County.

    3. 6478 Rosaflora Lane, $1.85 million

Escambia County’s third most expensive home sold during May is this four-bed, four-and-a-half-bathroom property situated on the Escambia Bay Bluffs.

It has more than 5,300 square feet of space with custom cabinetry and craft stonework featured throughout the home’s interior, such as its stone gas fireplace that stretches from the floor to the ceiling and serves as a centerpiece in its open floor plan.

Housed on an approximately 0.6-acre lot, the property includes a dock and boat lift.

This waterfront home was built in 2006 and was on the market for two days before its sale closed on May 17 for $1.85 million. It was originally listed for sale at $1.95 million by Rachael Whibbs with Levin Rinke Realty.

    2. 3420 N. 18th Ave., $2 million

This two-story home in Pensacola was the runner-up for Escambia County’s most expensive home sold during May.

The spacious home was built in 2005 with 10-foot-high ceilings and sits on the Bayou Texar with about 3,676 square feet of space inside and a view of the water that’s 225 linear feet. It also has four bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms.

A vacant lot adjacent to the home at 3430 N. 18th Ave. was included in the home sale, adding approximately 0.14 acres of land.

Renovations on the first floor of the home, including its kitchen, library and primary suite, were not finished so the new homeowners were able to mold things to their preference. However, characteristics core to the home − such as its high ceilings − still remain inside.

This home was listed with a $2.7 million price tag and was on the market for just over 100 days, but its sale closed on May 16 for $2 million. Rachael Whibbs with Levin Rinke Realty was the listing agent for the home's sale.

    1. 912 Panferio Drive, $2.65 million

The most expensive home sale in Escambia County during May was for a Pensacola Beach residence that finished construction this year and had a final price tag of $2.65 million.

The home has five bedrooms and five and a half-bathrooms with nearly 4,400 square feet of space and stands on a 0.29-acre lot that was vacant last year. The lot was purchased for $375,000 to build the new house.

The lot originally had another home on it that burned down. At the time of its sale, it was one of the biggest vacant lots available on Pensacola Beach.

This home was listed for sale by Larry Kuhn and Kuhn Realty at $2.99 million and its sale finalized 160 days later on May 24.
