    Monday Night Blues

    7 p.m. Monday, July 22. Seville Quarter, 130 E. Government St. Seville Quarter and the Blues Society of Northwest Florida are bringing the “blues” back to the Seville Quarter Entertainment District.     Bands on the Beach

    7 p.m. Tuesday, July 23. Gulfside Pavilion at Casino Beach, Pensacola Beach. Bands on the Beach is Pensacola Beach's popular outdoor summer concert series with performers for every musical taste. Featuring a lineup of regional artists, the series delivers an eclectic musical experience throughout the entire summer. This week features Stormfolk.     Disney's Descendants

    7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 19 through Aug. 4. Pensacola Little Theatre, 400 S. Jefferson St. In Disney's Descendants, the offspring of some of Disney's most notorious villains are invited to attend Auradon Prep, a school for the children of heroes and royalty. Mal, the daughter of Maleficent, leads a group of misfit friends - Evie, daughter of the Evil Queen; Carlos, son of Cruella de Vil; and Jay, son of Jafar - as they navigate fitting in and discovering their identities. However, when Mal realizes that being good isn't as easy as it seems, she must decide where her loyalties lie and whether to follow in her mother's wicked footsteps or forge her own path.     FWFPL HOT Summer Book Sale

    3 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, July 26 through 28. West Florida Public Library, 239 N. Spring St. The Friends of the West Florida Public Library’s HOT Summer Book Sale will take place at the library and this year for every 10 items (books, DVDs, audiobooks, and CDs) purchased, library supporters will be invited to select an 11th item for free. This includes all books (paperback, hard back, kids’ books, etc.) except those in the Collector’s Corner. The books in Collector’s Corner are always individually priced.     Party in the Park: Slow Ride + Game of SKATE

    5 p.m. Friday, July 26. Blake Doyle Skatepark, 501 N. Hayne St. The Slow Ride + Game of SKATE event will include a 5.5-mile Slow Ride around Hollice T. Williams Park and through the Eastside neighborhood and a competitive game of SKATE at the Blake Doyle Skate Park. Participants can take a survey to participate in the game of SKATE for a cash prize and raffle prizes. The first 50 people to take the Equity survey will also eat for free.     Man Overboard Murder Mystery Dinner Show

An artifact has been brought in to be appraised from the excavation of King Tut's tomb, but does his curse follow?     Party in the Park: Bash under the Freeway

    Noon Saturday, July 27. Cecil T. Hunter Pool, 200 E. Blount St. The Bash under the Freeway event will include raffle prizes, a DJ, performances, a vendor village, and food trucks. The first 50 people to take the survey will receive free access to the Cecil T. Hunter Pool during the event, as well as a meal ticket for the food trucks.     Departure: The Journey Tribute Band

    5 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Daphne Civic Center, 2603 U.S. 98, Daphne, Alabama. After 13 years together, Departure has become the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation. Departure replicates the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock super group. The current lineup has a natural synergy and enthusiasm which has developed into an amazing on-stage chemistry.     Bands on the Bayou

    6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Bayview Park, 2001 E. Lloyd St. The East Hill Neighborhood Association presents the Bands on the Bayou Community Concert Series. Come with chairs, blankets and family by land or water, and join everyone on the lawn at the new Bayview Community Center. Boat access is available. Local food trucks will be in attendance.     7 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Saenger Theatre, 118 S. Palafox St. First Dance Ballroom Studio presents The Greatest Showcase benefitting Children’s Home Society. The showcase is hosted by Sasha Farber from Dancing With the Stars and So You Think You Can Dance.
