    AT&T construction to impact some Pensacola drivers

    PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — Some drivers around Pensacola will soon experience temporary lane shifts as AT&T performs construction in the area, according to city officials.

    The City of Pensacola issued a traffic advisory for August 1 through October 31.

    During that timeframe, officials said commuters in the 3100 block of New Hope Road will experience temporary lane shifts as AT&T crews bore through roads to bury fiber cable.

    Specific roads for the construction include:

    • Albert Court, Brittany Court, Brittany Place, Brittany Terrace, Brittany Trail, West Francisco, Road, Lavallet Circle, Leesburg Square, Montessori Drive, New Hope Road
    • Oak Shadow Lane, Peggy Bond Drive, Silverleaf Drive, Spanish Trail, Station Court, Wexford Circle, Whiteleaf Circle, Whiteleaf Court, Woodwind Place, Wynford Circle

    As AT&T personnel work in Pensacola, city officials are asking drivers to be cautious and adhere to posted signs and crew instructions.
