Butch's Bistro & BBQ set to close this week after nearly 10-year reign, new concept coming

Butch’s Bistro & BBQ, a hidden gem on 13118 Sorrento Road in Perdido Key Plaza, is closing its doors permanently as of Aug. 28. The family-friendly bistro made its debut in 2015.

The restaurant’s closure was posted on the restaurant’s Facebook page on Aug. 23, stating that while the restaurant is closing, there is a “new and exciting concept” that will follow.

“The staff at Butch’s Bistro wants to thank our guest for the loyalty and support throughout the years. We have enjoyed serving our neighbors, friends, family and visitors,” the Butch's Bistro & BBQ statement said. “We will be closing Butch’s Bistro as of Aug. 28. We look forward to serving our community with a new and exciting concept. Stay Tuned!”

Butch’s Bistro was known for its casual seat yourself environment, nostalgic black-and-white checked tile floors and exceptional home cooking. Some of the favorites included the house-made brisket sandwiches, juicy greens and mile-high lemon meringue pie.

The menu reflected food from all over the country, including a Cajun Philly sandwich with blackened shrimp and andouille sausage, Cubano sandwiches, Cali burritos and Texas Roadhouse bacon brisket hamburgers.
