So! Sounds like an awful lot of interactions between bears and humans. Ever wonder why so many lately? Might be because it’s close to hibernation time and they’re out and about foraging. Might be because lately it seems a lot of humans need to get way too close to them and their cubs to take selvies, videos, pictures. Might be because bears see these uneducated, stupid humans intrusive and threatening to them and their cubs (and so, they are). Might be about how many stupid, uneducated people tend to leave food out in campsites, etc and EVEN LURE bears in with food for videos to go viral (see the story on Victor Bear in Mammoth Lakes) All at the expense of the bear, who will be destroyed for these stupid, uneducated humans. It’s a very rare, Very Rare, occurrence where the human has actually been in the right with these encounters.
