What Chief Hampton failed to tell the press was as follows.. Bruce lungs to the tree for over 7 hours, the so called swift water team was there listening to him beg for help, Bruce's family begged to buy the raft they had so the could go to him, the team would not sell or even let them use it...Next the team had said they were "to scared" to attempt it...my question is why are you swift water certified why are you even a volunteer fire dept..if you are to scared.And please send.me all the nasty comments you want to I was a Volunteer Firefighter.for years and a professional.Firefighter for nearly thirty..so guys hang your shit up go home and for this relative of Mr. Tipton I pray each night he walks through your dreams.
