Vestar announced the lineup of new retailers coming to The Shops at Lake Pleasant in Peoria, located off Happy Valley Road and Lake Pleasant Parkway.

Of the 14 new tenants, six have opened this month with several others slated by the end of 2024. As a result, the shopping complex is nearly 100% leased, according to a news release.

The Shops at Lake Pleasant contain nearly 90,000 square feet of retail space and span more than 15 acres adjacent to the Lake Pleasant Towne Center, another shopping center developed by Vestar. The Shops at Lake Pleasant will be 100% open and occupied by the spring 2025.

Raising Cane’s, Over Easy, Reformed Pilates, European Wax Center, Tropical Smoothie and Visionworks are now open for business.

Restore Fitness will open on June 28 and Handel's Ice Cream is slated to open this July. Salad and Go, OHM Fitness, In-N-Out and Classic & Fancy Nails are scheduled to open by the end of this year. Lastly, Honor Health and Christian Brothers Automotive will open in spring 2025.

Officials with Vestar said they see "incredible strategic potential at The Shops at Lake Pleasant, with a population approaching 150,000 and over 55,000 households within a 5-mile radius."

Moreover, the average household income within a 1-mile radius is nearly $162,000, demonstrating strong buying power from the area’s residents, the release said.

“Our new tenants highlight the promise of Peoria and its remarkable growth in recent years. With a growing population comes the need for more jobs, amenities, and consumer options and we are thrilled that The Shops at Lake Pleasant will provide all of these for Peoria residents and visitors alike,” said Vestar Executive Vice President Jeff Axtell.
