Joetta Marie (Nee Juhl) Kritta Barness

Joetta left this world with grace and dignity at the age of 83. She is survived by her husband, Lanny, and her five children Kathryn (Marcia) Peters, Robert Kritta, Kristine Kritta, Karolyn (Stephen) Geyen and Kelly (Cullen) McDyre. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren: Tony Christianson (Ann), Nick Christianson, Kallie Jo Casale (Michael), Kaci Christianson, Jacob Geyen (Emily), Cameron Kritta, Mitchell McDyre, Molly McDyre, and two sweet great grandchildren: Kaladin Christianson and Kylar Christianson who entertained her in her last days, siblings: Cindy (Howard) Vanschoonhoven, Dan (Mary) Juhl, Peggy (David) Juhl-Thompson. Her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends [who became family!] will miss her vibrant smile, her parties, and her joie de vivre. Preceded in death by her infant sister Celeste Juhl, her grandson Carter Geyen, her parents Loretta Heckman and Joseph Juhl, her beloved Aunt Maxine Becker and dear cousin Nicholas Juhl.
Celebration of life to be held at 2 PM Saturday Nov 16th at Community of Grace Lutheran Church in Peoria.
