PEORIA, Ill. (WMBD/WYZZ) — As Bradley University gets ready to shape its roster for next season, the Braves will have to do it without this year’s leading scorer.

Junior guard Connor Hickman has put his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal. He led Bradley in scoring with a 14.5 points per game average and was considered one of the top perimeter defenders in the Missouri Valley Conference.

Hickman was named third team all-conference earlier this month in helping Bradley finish third in the league race and earn a second consecutive trip to the NIT. His decision to leave BU comes a day after backcourt mate Duke Deen announced he is returning to the Braves for his final year of eligibility.
