Coming soon to Northwoods Mall in Peoria: 55,000 square feet of family entertainment

PEORIA – A new anchor store is planning to open at Northwoods Mall in the form of a family entertainment center.

The Tilted 10 amusement complex is expected to feature bowling lanes, two miniature golf courses, and more than 100 video and virtual reality games, according to Julie Revallo, the Northwoods Mall general manager. The 55,000-square-foot center will also offer food, as well as party rooms for special gatherings

"This is a wonderful addition to Northwoods Mall," Revallo said. "We don't want empty anchors. We want them full, and we're pretty excited about this one coming in. It will give people of all ages a place to go."

Revallo added that the space is well-suited for a family fun center because the previous occupant was Round 1 Bowling & Amusement. She hopes Tilted 10 will be ready to open by August.

Northwoods Mall would be Tilted 10's fourth location overall and second in Illinois. The business has locations in Rockford, Louisville, Ky., and Willow Grove, Pa.
