New cocktail bar has opened above this popular Peoria restaurant

Revel & Maker opened in Downtown Peoria over the weekend.

An Instagram post described the cocktail bar – situated right above Ardor Breads and Provisions – as “a space to escape after the daily drudgery & to celebrate those memorable milestones.”

The space will be open from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and various reservation options are available through Tock. These include:

• 3 courses of cocktails for $55 per person.
• The Revel & Maker Experience – which features two cocktails and two small dishes – for $65 per person.
• A Dinner and Drinks Experience where guests are able to visit Revel & Maker as well as Ardor’s dining room. The reservation website lists a deposit of $35 per person − which is later applied to the bill.

Ardor announced the concept in November 2023 and wrote it would be “inspired by prohibition era cocktail bars and the mid-western supper club.” After beginning as a bakery and growing into a restaurant, Ardor was named one of USA TODAY’s Restaurants of the Year in 2024.
