AT&T Wireless service down throughout portions of West Valley, Phoenix

Many Independent Newsmedia readers have reported wireless service from AT&T has gone down throughout portions of Phoenix and West Valley.

Reports have come from residents of Peoria, Surprise, Sun City, and Phoenix, leaving many businesses unable to proceed with their work of the day.

Independent Newsmedia has reached out to AT&T, who stated that some customers in the greater Phoenix area may be experiencing wireless disruptions due to third-party fiber damage.

"We’re in contact with the local provider, who is working to resolve issues outside of our network, so that we can fully restore service to customers as quickly as possible," an AT&T spokesperson said in an email.
