Early morning police chase leads to car crash and 2 arrests in Delhi Township
LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A police chase through Ingham County early Wednesday led to a car crash on Cedar Street in Delhi Township. On July 17 at 3:30 a.m., Ingham County Sheriff’s Office officials were called on a vehicle chase entering the county. Deputies said the Bath Township Police Department was chasing a Dodge Challenger on southbound US-127 near Trowbridge Road. Meanwhile, the Bath Township officer lost the car near the Jolly Road and Dunckel Road exit.

Motorcycle And Truck Collide Causing Injury
On 07/13/2024, a motorcycle collided with a truck on the Hwy 151 exit 8 overpass in the Village of Dickeyville, as reported to the Grant County Sheriff’s Office. Gary Helbing, 62, was riding his orange 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle southbound on Highway 61 when Earl Ludwig, 72, in a red 2013 Ford F150, pulled out into Helbing’s path from the off ramp, resulting in a collision. Despite Helbing’s efforts to avoid the crash, he hit the driver’s side of Ludwig’s truck and suffered severe injuries, needing assistance from witnesses at the scene before being taken to the hospital.
