Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan tells those seeking abortions "you are welcome here"
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — As Iowa prepares to enact one of the nation's strictest abortion laws, elected officials in Minnesota are ensuring out of state abortion seekers they are welcome to visit and access services. On Monday, Iowa will enact its ban on most abortions beyond six weeks, before many women know they are pregnant. On Thursday, Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan and Bloomington Mayor Tim Busse toured abortion provider Whole Women's Health Alliance in Bloomington. "I'm really honored to be here," Flanagan said after she and others toured the facility. "Sometimes the stigma that is attached to abortion care...

NFL analyst urges Vikings to trade for Seahawks cornerback
It’s no secret that the Minnesota Vikings need help at cornerback. It was a position of weakness coming into the 2024 season, even before the tragic events of the offseason. That need has only become more evident as training camp has progressed, and sooner or later, the front office may be forced to do something about it. If the Vikings want to get out of the gates on the right foot on defense, they should head off the problem now. That’s likely the thinking behind Bleacher Report’s Alex Ballentine suggesting the Vikings pull off a trade with the Seattle Seahawks for...

The Two Sides Of Still Woozy Come Out In Superb Armory Performance
Downtown Minneapolis felt dead on Thursday night. It didn’t feel like a show was happening at the massive Armory due to the lack of people hanging around the front. I got nervous. Did I have the wrong night? Maybe the wrong venue? Sadly, it wouldn’t have been the first time for either of those things. I saw a few people here and there walking towards the main doors and entering. Okay, clearly, we had a show, but where were all of the people? It wouldn’t be until headlining act Still Woozy took the stage that I would see that we did, in fact, have a show, and a massive one at that. It was one of those late arriving kind of crowds that just couldn’t be bothered to stand through even one opening act before the main attraction. Whatever– it’s their loss because everything about this entire show was fun, intriguing, different, and, did I mention fun?
