Fishing team reels in nearly 500-pound bull shark during Alabama tournament
Just winning the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo would have been more than enough for the Bon Secour Butchers, but the team of four got more than they bargained for recently. The Butchers, in fact, reeled in a state-record 494.5-pound bull shark during the recent tourney at Dauphin Island. The previous Alabama state record for a bull shark was 448 pounds in 2015.

FOLEY, Ala. (WPMI) — A new indoor aquatics center is planned to replace Foley’s 71-year-old swimming pool in less than three years. Foley officials held a public meeting Tuesday, July 23, to gather input from residents about the features they would like to be included in the facility replacing the current pool.
