Belair Middle School students moving from K-8 building to defunct Langford Middle School
Richmond County School System's rightsizing plan is already underway. A national chain has officially planted its flag in the Augusta area. Wetzel's Pretzels now has a food truck operating in the area, the first of the chain's trucks in Georgia and only the second of any kind of Wetzel's in the Peach State. Monday Storm Damage… Hot & Humid Tuesday
Today was hot and humid! Highs were in the upper 90s with some places making it to the low 100s. The heat index made it feel well into the triple digits and will continue to do so throughout the week. Tonight will be muggy with lows in the mid 70s. Tomorrow’s highs are going to be in the mid to upper 90s. Rain chances are going to increase as we go into the week. Tomorrow has a 30% chance of some storms, but the chance jumps up to 50% and 60% later in the week. Temperatures will cool down as the rain moves in.
