Blonien, Darr in lead groups as U.S. Women’s Amateur begins Monday at Southern Hills
The two Oklahoma residents competing in the U.S. Women’s Amateur at Southern Hills Country Club will be among the first to take a shot when the competition begins Monday. Natalie Blonien of Altus will be in the first group to tee off at 7:15 a.m. on the first hole. Lucy Darr of Stillwater will tee off at the same time on hole 10. The tournament will feature 18 holes of stroke play on Monday and Tuesday with the top 64 advancing to match play beginning Wednesday and concluding with the 36-hole final on Sunday.

Nine Washington County 4-H members excel at the state meet in Stillwater. Oklahoma 4-H’ers were in the fast lane during the 103rd State 4-H Roundup as they raced from workshops to contests to district rallies and more.
