Sell named lone finalist for PWCISD superintendent Brian Smith Tue, 07/02/2024 - 2:06 pm Loren SeLL Loren Sell, who served Perrin-Whitt CISD as interim superintendent while the district searched for a full-time replacement for Cliff Gilmore, was named superintendent during a meeting Friday, June 27. The district must now wait 21 days to offer Sell a contract. Sell was the district’s secondary school principal since 2018. Replacing Sell as secondary school principal will be a familiar face around the school as Scott McPherson will move into Sell’s former position. McPherson is the school’s baseball coach and has been with the district for three years. A new administrative position was also approved as Rebecca Sell will be assistant principal for both the elementary and secondary schools. Rebecca Sell will be coming to Perrin from Jacksboro Elementary School where she has been assistant principal there for the last two years. Loren Sell was the lone applicant for the position, board vice president Mark Sims said. The district used Education Service Center Region 9 for its search. Gilmore died June 10 after a brief illness.
