PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (WYMT) - Two people are dead and at least one other injured after an argument started on a strip job early Wednesday morning. Kentucky State Police Post 13 PIO Matt Gayheart said the incident started when several people were gathered on a strip job near Polly Hollow in the Avawam community of Perry County.
Perry man facing federal meth trafficking charges
A Perry County man has been charged in federal court with trafficking in methamphetamine. On June 27, a federal grand jury in London indicted Clifton Plowman, 40, of Easy Drive, Hazard, on charges of possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of a substance containing methamphetamine and possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking offense.
City of Hazard celebrates Independence Day
HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - Perry County celebrated Independence Day in true small-town fashion, starting with a fish fry.
