The city of Perry has named Molly Milosevich as the new housing and development manager.

Milosevich brings four years of government planning experience to the position. She most recently held the role of assistant planner for the city of Grimes.

"I am so grateful for this opportunity to work for the city of Perry and its community! I hope to use my previous work experience in development to provide a new perspective and assist in growing the community’s vision," she said. "It's a really unique time for Perry, but I think the city has a lot of potential and I am so excited to be a part of exploring that."

Milosevich is originally from Jefferson and a graduate of Greene County High School. She then attended and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science in Community and Regional Planning, and a Minor in Environmental Studies.

“We’re thrilled to have Molly Milosevich join our team as the housing and development manager. Her passion for community revitalization and her innovative approach to sustainable growth align perfectly with Perry’s vision. Molly’s expertise will be instrumental in shaping our city’s future. Welcome aboard, Molly!” City Administrator Sven Peterson said.

Milosevich will be playing a key role in the Community and Economic Development Department by coordinating all development within the city; oversight and development of housing programs, the city’s comprehensive plan and enforcement of the city’s subdivision, zoning, building and other land use and development codes; and act as the planning and zoning administrator.
