    Player of the Year

    Sarah Murrell, Midfielder, Perryville

    Continued to showcase why she has remained one of the top players in the area since joining the Panthers as a freshman. Finished her final season at Perryville with a county-high 108 points, including 85 goals and 23 assists. Won 137 draw controls and helped Perryville control games through possession. Added 52 ground ball recoveries and forced 11 turnovers. Will continue her time in lacrosse at Old Dominion next spring. A leader for a Perryville squad that has reached the state playoffs the past three seasons.

    Coach of the Year

    Mary Dunman, Perryville

    Led the Panthers to their third straight 1A East Region title and their second straight appearance in the Class 1A State Semifinals, while serving as the only Cecil County program competing in the Chesapeake Division. Perryville finished the season with a 4-0 regular season record against county opponents, plus two more county wins in the region playoffs.

    Emma Lucky, Attack, Rising Sun

    A versatile scorer that could find the back of the net for the Tigers. Finished the year with 24 points, including 17 goals and seven assists for a Rising Sun offense that scored 10 or more goals three times on the season.

    Juli Arnold, Attack, Bohemia Manor

    A reliable member of Bo Manor’s offense. Arnold finished the year with 29 points, including 20 goals and nine assists for the Eagles.

    Sarah Kilby, Attack, Perryville

    A player that will continue to develop following her sophomore year with the Panthers. Finished the year with 29 points, including 23 goals and six assists. Added nine ground balls and forced four turnovers.

    Audrey DiPietro, Attack, Tome

    The heartbeat of Tome’s offensive attack. DiPietro finished the season with 77 points, including 61 goals and 16 assists. Added 83 controls off the draw.

    Hallie Stansfield, Midfielder, Bohemia Manor

    An all-around athlete with a knack for finding the back of the net. Stansfield finished her sophomore year with team highs in points and goals scored. She finished the season with 42 points on 38 goals and six assists.

    Mattea Marra, Midfielder, Elkton

    An experienced member of the Golden Elks that patrolled the midfielder spot. Helped the Elks go 3-0 on the season when scoring 10 or more goals in a game.

    Abby Bolz, Midfielder, Rising Sun

    An aggressive midfielder with the ability to make things happen on offense for the Tigers. Finished the season with 18 goals for the Rising Sun offense.

    Macy Forrest, Midfielder, Perryville

    A key player for Perryville in transitioning the ball up the field. A promising junior who ended the year with 26 points, including 14 goals and 12 assists. Added 19 ground balls and forced four turnovers.

    Maddie Krasman, Midfielder, North East

    Finished the year with 42 draw controls and recovered 55 ground balls for the Indians at the midfielder spot. Added 15 points on the season for North East.

    Melina Christafano, Defense, Perryville

    A strong defender for the Panthers that focused on stopping opposing offense’s from driving towards the net. Part of a Perryville backline that allowed just over nine goals per game and limited county foes to just under five goals per game in six matchups.

    Jillian Gallano, Defense, Perryville

    Another member of Perryville’s defensive unit that worked hard to stop drives and limited county teams to less than five goals per contest.

    Lyla Covert, Defense, Rising Sun

    A member of Rising Sun’s backline that helped lead the Tigers to an appearance in the 1A East Region Final. Anchored a Rising Sun defense that was 6-0 when allowing eight goals or fewer.

    Kira Howell, Defense, North East

    A core part of the North East defense throughout the season, starting in every game for the Indians. Finished the season with 16 ground balls recovered.

    Sammie Peterson, Goalie, Perryville

    Served as a rock in the crease for the Panthers. Finished the season with 132 saves on 231 totals shots, good for a save percentage of 52.8.
