PERTH AMBOY, NJ -- NJ Assembly Speaker (D, LD-19) Craig Coughlin's 15th annual Bowl for Hunger event raised a record $150,000 to benefit food pantries in Cateret, Perth Amboy, Sayreville, South Amboy and Woodbridge on Monday evening at Majestic Bowl on Rte. 9 in Perth Amboy.

The event was supported by major sponsors that included Hackensack Meridian Health, Middlesex Water Company, Woodbridge Metro Chamber of Commerce, Amazon, Altria, Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, Jingoli DCO Energy, Anheuser-Busch, Ancient Order of Hibernians, Johnson & Johnson, Resorts Casino-Hotel, Helix, Pepsico, Devco, and RWJBarbabas Health. Local mayors Kennedy O'Brien (Sayreville), Fred Henry (South Amboy), Helmin Caba (Perth Amboy), John McCormac (Woodbridge), and Daniel Reiman (Carteret) were on hand, as was Assemblywoman Yvonne Lopez (D, LD-19).
