2024 Special Census is Extended
The 2024 Special Census is nearing completion, but we still have residents who have not been included in our updated population count yet. Due to heat and storms, field representatives from the U.S. Census Bureau are extending their time knocking on doors into mid-August. If you get a visit, please answer the door. It only takes a few minutes to complete the short questionnaire about the number of people in your household. Remember to check your door for a Notice of Visit if a census worker visited when you were not home. Call the number to talk to the local field office and complete the census questions over the phone. Your five minutes can make a positive impact on Waukee for years to come!
