18-year-old Halfmoon man arrested for allegedly driving intoxicated with suspended license
SARATOGA COUNTY, N.Y. (WRGB) — An 18-year-old Halfmoon man was arrested for an alleged motor vehicle operation in an intoxicated condition on Monday, July 22, 2024. Saratoga County sheriff's deputies conducted a traffic stop for passing a red light at the intersection of New York State Route 146 and Fire Rd. in Clifton Park Monday morning at 2:48 a.m., according to the sheriff's office.

Last person pleads guilty in major SEFCU bank fraud case
The last person in a major $113,800 bank fraud conspiracy against SEFCU has pleaded guilty. Evan Cutler, 25, of Queensbury admitted to applying for loans using stolen identities and taking out the loaned money in cash. He applied for the loans using fake New York driver licenses, said investigators, between February and October 2022.
Scotia Elementary Principal Nicholas Criscone Dies In Crash
The Saratoga County wreck happened at around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, in the town of Charlton on State Road. New York State Police said Nicholas Criscone, age 50, of Charlton, was driving southbound on Stage Road when his vehicle left the roadway, struck a tree, and caught on fire.

SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (WCAX) - One man faces a slew of charges after an alleged crime spree in South Burlington on Monday night. At around 5:25 p.m., police were called to 218 Hannaford Drive for a disturbance. One man was taken into custody there on an unrelated aggravated domestic assault charge when police were warned that another man, Shannon Edwards of Montpelier, was threatening people with a knife in a nearby wooded area.

Woodland is Welch’s first album of original material since 2011’s The Harrow & the Harvest, and Rawlings’ first since 2017’s Poor David’s Almanack.
