PESHTIGO — The Peshtigo High School girls soccer team made its presence felt throughout the Packerland Conference in its inaugural season as a varsity program.

From opening the 2024 campaign on a 10-game winning streak to capturing the conference championship with a perfect 3-0-3 record, Peshtigo served notice that the Packerland will be the domain of the Lady Bulldogs for the foreseeable future.

Individual accolades follow team success, something that this year’s All-Conference selections unequivocally proved for Peshtigo, as six Lady Bulldogs garnered All-Packerland honors on Tuesday.

Forward Audra Bauman was named the Packerland Player of the Year in addition to being named a unanimous All-Conference First Team selection after a dazzling junior season.

Bauman led Peshtigo and the entire conference in scoring with 22 goals and 47 points while shooting at a 22 percent clip.

Bauman finished with twice as many goals as the Packerland’s second-leading scorer, Green Bay NEW Lutheran’s Kiley Dhein, who also snared unanimous First-Team honors after pumping in 11 goals and 28 points for the Blazers.

Bauman was one of four Lady Bulldogs to receive unanimous First-Team praise.

Senior goalkeeper Lucy Lemire, senior defender Emerey Slater and senior midfielder Lorelei Maxwell were the others.

Lemire’s goals-against-average of 1.12 was tops in the Packerland. She spent 640 minutes in front of the net for Peshtigo and racked up 52 saves against just eight goals against, a save percentage of 0.867.

Maxwell was the Packerland’s leader in assists (8) and chipped in four goals in 11 games.

Slater helped the Lady Bulldogs notch nine shutouts on defense. Peshtigo never allowed more than three goals and only gave up two or more goals three times.

Sophomore Lauren Ahrdnt nabbed an All-Conference First Team spot in the midfield after tallying four goals and 16 points for Peshtigo.

Ella Maxwell, a sophomore, all received All-Conference laurels with an Honorable Mention as a defender.

Peshtigo’s six All-Conference nods were tied with Sturgeon Bay for the most by one school. NEW Lutheran and Sevastopol/Gibraltar both had five.
