Athol EDIC looking to build hotel, event space off Route 2
ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Town of Athol’s Economic Development and Industrial Corp., the EDIC, has issued a Request for Proposals for the development of a hotel and event space at the EDIC’s fifteen acre lot next to Exit 77 off of Route 2. The EDIC considers this hotel and event project to be a capstone on the development in the area, supporting the revitalization of tourism in the area.
