    West Virginia man arrested after chasing man and slashing his tires

    PETERSBURG, WV (LOOTPRESS) – One man has been arrested after chasing a man and slashing his tires, stating “It’s time for him to pay.”

    According to a criminal complaint, on Monday, June 17, 2024, police were dispatched to a residence on Yokum Hollow Road in Petersburg for a domestic disturbance.

    Once on the scene, police spoke to the owner of the residence who stated he was driving up the road and that 50-year-old David Turner began chasing him.

    The victim told police that he was in fear of his life and sped up causing a dust storm and lost David on the road.

    The victim stated that he was in such fear he rushed inside his home to retrieve a firearm to protect himself.

    David allegedly slashed the tires of the victim’s trailer last Thursday. He stated individuals witnessed the incident but did not reveal their names to protect their safety.

    According to the victim, David made threats toward him to other family members stating that “It’s time for him to pay.”

    David Turner was arrested and charged with Destruction of Property and Domestic Assault.

    He is currently at Potomac Highlands Regional Jail on a $9,000 cash-only bond.
