The Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 33-year-old Shane B. Kroske of Warsaw at 8:32 a.m. Thursday in Benton County. He now faces charges of driving while revoked, failure to comply with ignition interlock, and he was also wanted on two Pettis County misdemeanor warrants. Warrant Issued for Houstonia Man Accused of Raping 16 Year Old Girl
PETTIS COUNTY, Mo - A warrant has been issued for a Houstonia man after he allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl early Monday morning. According to a probable cause statement the girl's mother told the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that her daughter stayed overnight at a residence on Trickum Road. The girl was awoken at around 1:30 a.m. Monday morning by 53-year-old Kennith Wood, who asked her if she wanted to go raccoon hunting.

Drug arrest in Sedalia leads to trafficking charges
SEDALIA, MO - Pettis County Sheriff arrested a man sought by Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force for a month. Early Saturday morning, Douglas Bradley, a recent parolee from Department of Corrections after a drug delivery conviction, was located on Route 65 and followed by deputies into Sedalia. After an attempted stop at Engineer and Tower, Bradley fled south on Hill, then departed from the road through a yard, throwing an item from the driver door. At Hill and Jackson, Bradley was taken into custody.

Driver, passenger injured after pickup trucks collide on rural Missouri highway
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Emergency crews were called to a rural Missouri highway after a pickup truck collided with another and injured the driver and passenger. The Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that around 2:20 p.m. on Friday, July 19, emergency crews were called to the area of Highway 50 and Daviess Rd., near The Bargain Shed in Pettis County with reports of a 2-vehicle collision.
Two Injured in Pettis County Tractor Accident
Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident that occurred Friday afternoon in Pettis County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2013 Ford F-150, driven by 59-year-old William A. Anderson of Clinton, was on US 65, one-half mile south of Mather Road around 4:45 p.m., when the Ford overtook and struck a slow-moving 2009 John Deere tractor, driven by 36-year-old Phillip M. Staus of Sedalia.
