St. James man seriously injured in rollover crash near Cabool
A Phelps County man is seriously injured when he runs off Highway 63 in Texas County. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Joshua Cantrell, 41, of St. James, was driving about fives miles north of Cabool early Thursday morning when he ran off the side of the road. The patrol says Cantrell’s pickup truck struck a guardrail, then overturned down a steep embankment. Cantrell, who wasn’t wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
Rolla man charged after allegedly shooting pharmacy employee during robbery
The Phelps County prosecutor filed charges Thursday against a Rolla man who allegedly shot an employee at a pharmacy in Rolla during a robbery on Wednesday. Justin M. Wonsewitz, 41, has been charged with first-degree robbery, first-degree assault causing serious physical injury and two counts of armed criminal action, according to online court records.
