Buena Vista K9 officer receives protective vest donation
BUENA VISTA, Va. (WSET) — One local K9 officer will be better-protected thanks to a donation of body armor. Buena Vista Police Department's K9 Hans received a bullet- and stab-protective vest from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., a non-profit organization. The vest was sponsored by the Nancy Allison Perkins Foundation of Flossmoor, Illinois, and is embroidered with the words, "Honoring those who served and sacrificed."
Brenden Queen beats Connor Hall in Hampton Heat slugfest
The Hampton Heat 200 came down to another Langley Speedway slugfest between Brenden Queen and Connor Hall. They both nearly threw it away and gave it to Peyton Sellers.
