On Thursday, the Ole Miss football team revealed its first uniform combination ahead of Saturday's 2024 season opener with Furman. When Saturday rolls around, the Rebels will wear navy helmets, navy jerseys and white pants. The last time Ole Miss wore navy helmets and navy jerseys was back in early 2023, when the Rebels hosted Georgia Tech.

Two popular Mississippi restaurants open for nearly 20 years have announced that they will soon be closing after many memories and family celebrations. On Tuesday, Fenian’s Pub in Jackson announced that they will be closing their doors after serving customers for nearly 28 years. On Wednesday, Basil’s Downtown announced that it will also be closing after serving customers for 19 years.
McCloyen To Make Waves In Peru
LIMA, Peru – Roury McCloyen will compete at the U20 World Championships in Lima, Peru on Aug. 30. He will be the only Bulldog at the championship. The Mississippi native made Team USA by winning discus at the USATF U20 Championship in Eugene, Oregon this past June. He set a personal-best of 60.28m (197-09) on his first attempt, winning the event by three feet.
