Following the trade of Haason Reddick and the bulk of the Eagles' 2024 roster intact now, Philadelphia sports fans and media have been debating: Did the Eagles actually get worse this offseason?

"It felt pretty good and then Haason Reddick got traded, and then he got traded without getting a new contract," Joe DeCamara said about the Eagles' offseason on Tuesday's 94WIP Morning Show. "A team got its doors blown off by the Tampa Bay Bucs, has probably now lost—what would you guys call it? Three of the top seven players on the team? Three of the top eight players?"

The three players DeCamara is referring to, of course, is Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox—Eagles legends who retired—and the aforementioned Reddick.

On a positive note, the Eagles did add significant pieces this offseason highlighted by star running back (or should we say "offensive weapon") Saquon Barkley, versatile and aggressive defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson, and expected ascending pass rusher Bryce Huff.

"It was a very active offseason by Howie and he hit it out of the park," Jon Ritchie said, disagreeing with DeCamara. "Our offense, I am so focused on the run based part of our offense dominating the rest of this league. The Saquon signing is going to revamp things, I believe in that...To the Eagles credit, Howie didn't get nostalgic with Haason Reddick."

On Tuesday's 94WIP Midday Show, Joe Giglio agreed with DeCamara.

"I don't think they're better than the team that walked off of the field in Tampa," Giglio said. "The whole object of this offseason was to get better...I look at this roster and I don't think they're a better football team that left the field against Tampa Bay. Jason Kelce, Fletcher Cox, Haason Reddick! That's a lot to lose."
