Philadelphia 76ers star center Joel Embiid is expected to make his return to the court on Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder at the Wells Fargo Center, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Embiid, 30, has played in just 34 games this season and has not played since January 30th when Golden State Warriors forward Jonathan Kuminga landed on his knee diving for a ball.

Embiid was diagnosed with a lateral meniscus injury in his left knee.

The Sixers have struggled without Embiid going 14-27 overall. With Embiid, they were an impressive 26-8 and Embiid himself was having a career year averaging 35.3 points, 11.3 rebounds, and 5.7 assists with a 64.5 true shooting percentage.

The seven-time All-Star and reigning league MVP has yet to play with the Sixers' new deadline additions in Buddy Hield, Kyle Lowry, and Cameron Payne.

In the Sixers' win at the Raptors on Sunday night, the team made a franchise record 24 three-pointers.

The 40-35 Sixers face the impressive 52-22 young Thunder on Tuesday, but then finish the season with some easy games including their final three at home against the Pistons, Magic, and Nets.

The 42-33 Pacers have a relatively easy schedule as well, with a home-and-home against the lowly Nets before facing the more difficult Thunder and Heat at home.

The 43-31 Magic still play at New Orleans, at Philadelphia, and twice against Milwaukee.

Philadelphia has the eighth shortest odds to win the NBA Finals at 31-1, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
