Howie Roseman and Jeff Stoutland couldn't dream up a better offensive tackle draft. The class is filled with elite athletes that can be special with time to develop, as well as a few that could play guard if needed.

The ideal Eagles OT prospect is clear -- a prospect who can play OG now and then develop into the eventual Lane Johnson replacement when he retires. There is a good chance at No. 22 the best prospect available fits that description. The question they have to ask is -- would they take a player that can only play OT if that means he sits for a few seasons?

2024 Eagles NFL Draft Preview: Interior OL

Taliese Fuaga, Oregon State: Probably the best possible option for the Eagles at No. 22 if he falls. He's allowed 0 sacks the last three seasons. Although he has only played RT he projects to be able to play RG right away. He has a super quick first step and punishes defenders in the run game. Would be a perfect fit for what should be a run-heavy Eagles team next season.

JC Latham, Alabama: Latham played RG in 2021 before moving to RT the last two seasons. Impressive speed. Good use of hands already. Will be only 21 during his entire rookie season, which will be very appealing to Howie. Could play guard next season, giving the Eagles two monster sets of OG/OTs on both sides of the line.

Olu Fashanu, Penn State: An elite, elite athlete for the OT position that is already strong as a pass blocker. Scouting reports mention he needs work on his hand placement, which Stoutland can fix. Isn't projected to be able to play guard, but would be a great prospect as a Lane Johnson replacement.

Tyler Guyton, Oklahoma: Played defensive end in high school and is still learning OT position. He is definitely a project/needs coaching. But he is a great athlete with a quick first step that has true elite OT potential. Unclear if he can play OG but if Eagles think he can then he is a definite possibility for them at No. 22.

Amarias Mims, Georgia: Mims might be the biggest project of all the top tackle prospects. Great length and ideal build for OT, but limited snaps in college due to an ankle injury/being at Georgia with elite tackle prospects in front of him. Has only played RT.

Jordan Morgan, Arizona: Former track/field guy and the result is a special athlete for the position. Played LT but projects as OG, giving him position flexibility. Not that strong but quick first step and quick hands.

Kingsley Suamataia, BYU: Played both LT and RT. Allowed 2 sacks, 8 hits and 14 hurries in 2 years. Good athlete, bad hands. Better run than pass blocking.

Kiran Amegadije, Yale: Played both LT and RT, only only one sack in 3 years. Slow feet. Played against bad competition at Yale. Projected to be able to play guard as well.
