Spike goes off on Howard: 'You want them to lose so you will be right'

Howard Eskin was walking around the 94WIP studio with a Tyrese Haliburton jersey and it set off his son and 94WIP Afternoon Show host Spike Eskin.

"You're scared because you're full of crap!" Spike yelled at Howard. "The truth is, they don't let you hang out in the facility all day long at the Sixers, so you don't talk good about them. We said, that Sam Hinkie was doing the right thing. You disagreed. You planted your flag on the other side and you are so intent on being right about that, that you're willing to have disingenuous conversations about the team until Embiid is gone.

"For the first time with the Philadelphia 76ers in forever, in 20 years, we have a superstar player, a great coach and a great general manager. Perfect? No. But you're not even cheering for them. You want them to lose so you will be right. It's a shame. I think it's a shame. I think it's a shame that you'd rather walk around the WIP studios wearing a Tyrese Haliburton than wearing a Joel Embiid jersey."

Spike and Howard have been going at it for over a decade now, as Spike has been one of Philadelphia's biggest Sam Hinkie and pro Process supporters, while Howard has been the biggest anti-Process voice in the city.
