Tobias Harris' time with the Philadelphia 76ers is coming to an end, according to The Inquirer's Keith Pompey .

"Tobias Harris may be as good as gone," Pompey writes. "The power forward’s tenure with the 76ers is expected to end once their postseason run concludes."

Pompey adds several executives believe Harris will land with the Detroit Pistons, but there are other teams interested as well.

Harris, 31, signed a five-year, $180 million contract with the Sixers in 2019 which is set to expire this offseason. And while has been consistent as a Sixer scoring in the 15-19 points per game range, he has not lived up to expectations based on his $36 million annual salary.

Harris, as a non All-Star with a maximum contract, has been one of Sixers fans' biggest targets when the team does not succeed.

Spotrac projects the Sixers to have $56 million in cap space this offseason, second most in the NBA.

Daryl Morey and the Sixers will almost certainly give a chunk of that space to 23-year-old All-Star guard Tyrese Maxey in the form a new long-term max contract. Furthermore, the Sixers are reportedly targeting Clippers veteran Paul George as a potential third star to add to Maxey and Joel Embiid.

As it stands now, however, there is optimism surrounding the Sixers who begin their first-round series as the No. 7 seed on Saturday at the New York Knicks.
