Would you trade A.J. Brown for the No. 3 overall pick in the NFL Draft? Joe Giglio would.

"I would trade A.J. Brown to the Patriots if they offered the third [overall] pick in the draft," Giglio said on Friday. "I wouldn't even think twice about it...In this year, you have all these quarterbacks. You also have great receivers, including Marvin Harrison. The Eagles could trade A.J. and swap out A.J. for a younger A.J., for Marvin Harrison—for a guy that people think is going to be a great player. Over the next four years, Marvin Harrison will cost 35 million against the cap. A.J. will cost 90 [million]."

    Hugh Douglas agreed with Giglio.

"I like A.J. too, but I don't like the way this played out," Douglas said. "I'm not not a fan of A.J. Brown's, but I am a fan of this team and if that has the potential of being a distraction, I don't want it. Especially on a team that had a lot of distractions last year that we didn't even address."

The Patriots, who have the No. 3 overall pick in this year's NFL Draft, have inquired about Brown, according to Albert Breer.

"Philadelphia has gotten inquiries on A.J. Brown," Breer said. "They have shut them all down and told other teams that he is not available."

Brown recently changed his profile picture on social to Tom Brady on X and Instagram and later explained why in a post that he has since deleted that said:

" TB12 is my favorite player ever.
I watch the dynasty and it brought back some memories from my childhood.
Go look up what he did in 2015 when he was doubted/ disrespected.
    Yeah I see the disrespect.
    Motivated … yes. That’s it
I Did not think changing my pfp to the greatest…"

Brown also followed Patriots players K.J. Osborn and Jacoby Brissett.

Previously, Brown—who grew up a Pats fans— admitted he cried when the Patriots passed on drafting him in 2019.

The Eagles recently agreed to a big contract extension with wide receiver DeVonta Smith , extending him through 2028.

Brown, 26, was acquired by the Eagles in the 2022 NFL Draft for the No. 18 overall pick. Brown signed a four-year, $100 million contract with the Eagles after the trade, with $57 million guaranteed.

Brown has cap hits of $12.1M, $26.5M, and $41.5M over the next three seasons, respectively.

The No. 3 overall pick will make $35 million over four years with a cap hit of around $11 million in 2027.

Brown called into 94WIP in February to defend himself and clear the air, speaking with former Eagle Ike Reese and Jack Fritz.

"I have no problem," Brown began by telling Reese and Fritz. "I want to be here, it's as simple as that. I love where I'm at, it's as simple as that. Next question."

"I'm the person you need on this team because I am willing to hold people accountable, make people around me better," Brown said later. "But nobody sees that. All you see is the little flare ups...Nobody in that building works harder than me, I can stand on that and say that."

The Eagles replaced offensive coordinator Brian Johnson in the offense with a new OC in Kellen Moore. They lost center Jason Kelce and signed star running back Saquon Barkley in free-agency.
