Ike Reese went on an incredible rant after hearing his co-hosts Jack Fritz and Spike Eskin spoke positively about the Philadelphia 76ers following yet another early-round exit in the playoffs.

“This nonsense about congratulate them, pat them on the back for trying in this series—they were favorites in the series! We lost to a six-foot guard with a bunch of second round draft picks!" Reese yelled during Friday's 94WIP Afternoon Show live at Chickie's & Pete's in South Philadelphia.

"And we supposedly got two top 20 players on this team. We supposedly got a coach who knows what the hell he is supposed to do and it's supposed to be an upgrade, but somehow we lose to the Knicks on our home court in Game 6 and everyone I'm seeing is talking about pacifying this damn team. Are you guys kidding me? This isn't about Joel Embiid needs to go, this ain't about Tyrese Maxey. This is about us demanding higher performances from this team and stop making excuses. I've been one of the top excuse makers for Joel Embiid his entire career. This nonsense has to end. Daryl Morey, your ass is on the clock to get this team right."

Embiid is the only MVP in NBA history to not reach the conference finals, something the Sixers still have not done since 2001.

Both Fritz and Eskin said they were encouraged by the Sixers' performance, despite the loss. Eskin pointed to Embiid battling through and showing up in every game of the series, including in Game 6 where he scored 39 points, and Tyrese Maxey developing into a legitimate NBA number two option.

The Sixers enter this offseason with around $60 million in cap space and plenty of draft picks for Morey to work with, as all of the issues he inherited are officially gone.

Philadelphia has already been reported to be interested in names like LeBron James, Paul George, Jimmy Butler and Brandon Ingram.
