The Philadelphia Phillies have won five games in a row and are an MLB best 24-11. They are 2.5 games ahead of the Braves in the NL East and 7.0 games up on an NL wildcard spot.

"It does feel like more complete domination this year and there is really no panic," Jon Ritchie said on Monday's 94WIP Morning Show. "There has been some really close ones lately and it's just like they know how to get it done...I feel really solid that this is not just a flash in the pan type thing. This is a team that is prepared, they've been prepared through the fire in previous seasons and now they're ready to go get this thing."

"The Phillies are in a completely comfortable spot," Joe DeCamara agreed. "They're right there right now, in an usual spot."

The only negative of the weekend is that Trea Turner suffered a hamstring injury and is expected to miss six weeks. James Seltzer believes the Phils will move Bryson Stott shortstop and often play Whit Merrifield at second base.

"You don't want to lose Trea Turner for six weeks, but having Whit Merrifield to put right in there is the best situation they've had for this type of injury," Seltzer said. "And the pitching just keeps on rolling."
