Monmouth Placing its Bets on Shake Shack

Placing bets is a hungry business, and one of the nation’s top burger chains has plans to take the edge off the odds with burgers and fries. Shake Shack is opening a new location at a trackside sportsbook in Monmouth, reports local media outlet NJ.com .

The impossibly popular national chain will be opening in Monmouth Park next year. Shake Shack will be a part of a 16,000 square foot establishment taking up residence at 175 Oceanport Avenue. The new location will allow betting enthusiasts to monitor various live sports while enjoying a delectable sandwich or milkshake. The facility will offer visitors both indoor and outdoor seating.

A groundbreaking was held last week, signifying forward momentum. While a precise opening date is not currently available, Monmouth Park plans to open the sportsbook-and with it Shake Shack-in 2025.

Shake Shack will offer guests a delicious array of fast-casual options. The chain, which first made its name in 2001, offers hot dogs, burgers, fries, and milkshakes.
