DeVonta Smith explained why he was happy to sign an extension with the Philadelphia Eagles.

"I feel like I'm in one of the top tier organizations," Smith said on Thursday's 94WIP Afternoon Show with Ike Reese, Spike Eskin and Jack Fritz. "Howie [Roseman], Mr. [Jeffrey] Lurie, they take care of us. Anytime you're in the building you feel like you're with family...The relationships I've built in the city, I wouldn't want to be anywhere else."

Smith, 25, signed a three-year extension worth $75 million and $51 million guaranteed this offseason with the Eagles.

Smith also talked to Ike, Spike and Fritz about new OC Kellen Moore, the Eagles' leadership, his relationship with A.J. Brown, and the addition of Saquon Barkley.

DeVonta Smith is hosting his third annual charity softball game on Saturday, June 29th at Coca-Cola Park in Allentown. Tickets and details here .
