The Eagles ended last season with massive disappointment, and are now looking to get back to their 2022 form, when they were just a play or two away from winning the Super Bowl.

But Spike isn’t confident that Philly can get back to that level of success, and it’s because of the head coach pacing the sidelines.

“I’ve been trying to get myself into a headspace where I’m optimistic about the Eagles season,” Spike said. “Nick Sirianni had a lot to do with the collapse last year…and here we get he is running sprints and suicides in camp, and he’s arguing with Giants fans in his neighborhood that Saquon Barkley is the best Giant.”

Spike also noted the answer (or lack thereof) from Jalen Hurts when asked what Sirianni does for the team, and worries that Sirianni won’t change in the means necessary to get the most out of this Eagles team in 2024.

“It has to be a different Nick Sirianni this year…and I am not confident,” Spike said. “Nick Sirianni is holding me back from being optimistic about the Philadelphia Eagles this year.”
