The 46-22 Philadelphia Phillies have lost three out of their last four games. Are there legitimate reasons for concern or is this "just baseball"?

"There's no panic when a team is 24 games over .500," Joe Giglio said on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show, "But we can have an honest conversation about what we're seeing.

"Hugh, here's what I see. I see a team that is outstanding and they are going to be where we want them to be in October. But I am starting to see some—I'll just call them cracks. The injuries, obviously have piled up a little bit. Marsh and Turner when they get back, hopefully this weekend, that's going to help a lot.

"You could make a case, maybe, maybe—and we'll see how it goes, Hugh—that the pitching is going to come back to earth a little bit. Not Wheeler, because I think Wheeler is great. But there's a chance that Nola kind of goes back to what he is typically, not a Cy Young guy. And Sanchez too, Sanchez has never done this for a full season. I am noticing and starting to see some cracks in the armor."

Douglas is pointing to the travel, as the Phillies are returning from a London trip and have played five straight games away from Citizens Bank Park.

"I think this is just a tough week, Joe," Douglas responded. "I do believe there is something to be said about coming from a long road trip, changing your sleep patterns...It feels like, just from the eye test, that it just got progressively worse."

94WIP Midday Show producer Kyle Quinn took it one step further, "This is not a perfect baseball team and anybody that just sitting here saying, 'This is going to be fine'...They're kidding themselves...They need to make a move if they want to be serious about getting through the Dodgers...This is not going to be easy."

The Phillies will have a tough three-game series at the Baltimore Orioles before returning to the Bank on Monday to face the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks.
