Joe Giglio refuses to hit the panic button following injuries to Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber.

"I am not hitting the panic button, Hugh," Giglio said on Friday's 94WIP Midday Show. "I am not doing it. I refuse to go to the panic button with an eight game lead in the division and they have a cushion and they have a great pitching staff. I will say though, I am having some slight concerns now because it's adding up. It's not one injury, it feels like it is compounding over the past couple of months."

Harper suffered a hamstring injury running to first base in the 9th inning of last night's loss , while Schwarber suffered—what appears to be—a less serious groin injury earlier in the game . Both will receiver MRIs today.

Starting catcher J.T. Realmuto (meniscectomy surgery on his right knee) and starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull (right shoulder soreness) are already out.

The Phillies are 53-28 and still hold an eight game lead over the Braves in the NL East, as Giglio mentioned.

Just yesterday, Giglio argued with Paul Jolovitz on 94WIP Debate Day that the Phillies were a "lock" to win the NL East .

"I'm just saying eerily—like the timing is just eerie," Hugh Douglas poked Giglio. "I am not blaming you for anything, it's just crazy how things like this happen."
