WARRINGTON TOWNSHIP, PA—Warrington police arrested a 31-year-old man who they said worked with a juvenile to shoplift from a beauty supply store.

On June 27 at about 2:30 p.m., police observed a suspicious looking male and a juvenile enter the Ulta Beauty store in The Shops at Valley Square. The adult was wearing a face mask and both were carrying empty backpacks when they entered the store.

A short time later, police observed the two leave the store, but the adult was no longer wearing a mask and both of their backpacks looked full. At about that time, a store employee flagged down the officer and accused the two of shoplifting merchandise.

Ulta employees said the two didn’t purchase anything from the store, but the officer allegedly found two flat irons valued at nearly $300 inside the backpacks.

When the officer asked for identification, the adult allegedly gave a false name and date of birth. The male was later identified as Tarik Jefferson from Philadelphia.

Police learned that Jefferson had several warrants from Bucks, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties. When Jefferson failed to post 10% of $150,000 cash bond, he was taken to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
