The Philadelphia 76ers and Tyrese Maxey have agreed to a five-year, $204 million contract as expected, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

"Well earned, he really earned it," Joe DeCamara said on the 94WIP Morning Show.

"This is a guy who has done everything the right way," said Jon Ritchie.

Maxey, who turns just 24 in November, was the 21st overall pick of the Sixers during the 2020 Covid NBA Draft.

Last season, Maxey averaged a career high 25.9 points per game and has developed into a 39.6-percent three point shooter for his career, reaching his first All-Star game last year.

The Sixers have signed Paul George in free-agency to a max contract forming what many national NBA media members are calling the best big three in the NBA.
