The Philadelphia 76ers currently are missing a starting power forward after making all of the moves they have made to begin free agency. They have a bonafide Big 3 in the form of Joel Embiid, Paul George, and Tyrese Maxey, but they need to build a team around those three stars.

There are some options available out there. Sixers Wire highlighted six options here for Philadelphia to chase after to be the team’s power forward, but there appears to be a familiar name that the Sixers would like to bring back.

Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, that name is Marcus Morris Sr.:

The Sixers have interest in signing the power forward to a free-agency deal, according to multiple sources. The Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Miami Heat and Minnesota Timberwolves have also expressed some level of interest, according to a source.

In 37 games with the Sixers after being acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers in the James Harden deal, Morris averaged 6.7 points and 2.9 rebounds while shooting 40% from deep. He was then sent to the Indiana Pacers in the Buddy Hield deal at the deadline.

The Pacers then flipped him to the San Antonio Spurs to turn that deal into a 3-team trade. The Spurs then waived Morris which led to him finishing the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers where he played in 12 games and averaged 5.8 points while shooting 41.4% from deep.
