East Passyunk hosts Italian-Style Promenade “Passeggiata” every Thursday

If you’ve dreamed of being in Italy and taking an evening stroll before grabbing dinner, the good news is you now don’t have to catch a flight, because East Passyunk is hosting an Italian-style promenade called “Passeggiata” every Thursday through the summer!

Every Thursday night restaurant and bar in East Passyunk will host specials and a sidewalk market.

Starting on July 11th through August 31st from 5 to 7 p.m. participating bars and restaurants in East Passyunk will offer special happy hour prices including $5 beers, $6 wines, and $7 cocktails, along with $7 small bites.

The Passeggiata will also host sidewalk specials and sales encouraging visitors to stroll along East Passyunk Avenue. Similar to the style of an Italian promenade.

For those unfamiliar with the term, a “Passeggiata” is “a leisurely walk or stroll, especially one taken in the evening,” which is a tradition in Italy.
